Today is World AIDS Day, which was first observed in 1988. This day raises awareness of the HIV epidemic. It is estimated that 34,800 new incidences of HIV infections occurred in the United States in 2019. #WorldAIDSDay

November is Child Safety Protection Month. There are a number of potential dangers children face everyday. Remember to keep cleaning supplies and medication out of reach of children, cover electrical outlets, and check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors regularly.
The University of Arkansas Little Rock campus is hosting a free Community Coding Day, Saturday, December 4, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Activities include an hour of code, little robots, lighting of the Christmas trees, and cyber security. No registration is required.
