SYLVAN HILLS MIDDLE students read obituaries of black historical figures that were not previously published because they were black. The students had to solve math problems about each person's age and other questions about the person. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

Pulaski County remains under a winter weather advisory until 12pm tomorrow. Therefore, PCSSD will have another AMI day on Thursday, Feb. 2. Students are must log on to Schoology for assignments. All extracurricular/post-school events for Thursday will be rescheduled or canceled.

BAKER ELEMENTARY 2nd graders worked together to annotate text in order to find a central idea. The students then summarized the story and shared similarities and differences with their classmates. They are already learning AVID strategies! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

The MAUMELLE MIDDLE robotics team competed in their first tournament at the Cabot Winter Classic. They made it to the first round of the knockout qualifiers. Great work! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence



All middle school athletic events will be canceled this evening (Monday, Jan. 30). PCSSD will have an AMI day tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 31. Students are expected to log on to Schoology for all assignments. Tuesday's varsity athletic events will be rescheduled at a date TBD.

The School Choice Act of 2015 enabled students in K-12 to attend school in a nonresident district. If you would like to join our PCSSD family but live outside our zone, school choice applications are accepted through May 1.
