Little Scholars at OAK GROVE learned about a popular Arkansas bird, the cardinal, last week. They discussed how cardinals benefit the state and painted birdhouses. This hands-on activity taught them about local wildlife and provided a connection to nature. #pcssdproud #serveall

The Sylvan Hills feeder is officially a Guinness World Record Holder! On May 6, a total of 2,576 people gathered to break the world record for the longest human electrical current. Two PCSSD high school students were among 91 exceptional high school students to receive Honors College Fellowships at the University of Arkansas. The fellowships largely cover tuition, fees, books, room and board, and other academic expenses over 4 years.
