Last night, we had the honor of hosting our National Honor Society Induction Ceremony at Mills University Studies High School!
We’re incredibly proud of our outstanding students and their commitment to scholarship, leadership, service, and character. As we continue to elevate excellence, our NHS members represent the heart of what makes Mills a destination school once again.
We can’t wait to see all they’ll accomplish in the upcoming school year — the future is bright!

May is Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. One reason May was chosen to celebrate the contributions of AAPI people is Golden Spike Day. The transcontinental railroad, built with the help of many Chinese workers, was completed on May 10, 1869. #pcssdproud #serveall

Mills University Studies High School is proud to announce the beginning of a wonderful partnership with Philander Smith University and their pre-educator program!
This partnership means we will begin the planning process for MUSHS students to be able to take concurrent credit through PSU's education department that will lead to several outcomes. First, high school graduates will be eligible to earn a para-professional certification by the time they graduate from high school. Then it will also give our high school students college course credit at Philander Smith University that will count toward the undergraduate program for becoming a certified teacher. Finally, the partnership also means that Philander Smith University will place their student interns here for their learning experiences as well.
This partnership will be a major contribution to our Achieve Community Alliance Academy of Leadership and Social Services which is part of the Academies of Central Arkansas.
We are so excited about this new opportunity for our students here at MUSHS!
