Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour when you go to bed tonight. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. - meaning you "gain" an hour of sleep. There are only two states that don't observe DST: Hawaii and Arizona (with the exception of Navajo Nation). #pcssdproud #serveall

Celebrated in Mexico, Día de los Muertos has roots in both ancient Aztec customs and All Souls' Day introduced by the Spanish in the 1500s. This holiday centers on families gathering to pay respect to friends and family who have died. #pcssdproud #serveall

We’re so grateful to our dedicated teachers here at SHMS who bring WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading) strategies into their classrooms every day! 📚✏️ From guiding thoughtful debates with Philosophical Chairs to diving into Cornell Notes, our teachers are making learning an active, engaging journey for all our all students. Shoutout to teachers like Ms. Shirley, Ms. Espinda, Ms. Laws, Mr. Patterson, Mr. Guy, and so many others who constantly innovate and inspire. Thanks to their efforts, students are becoming confident, organized, and ready for success! 🙌 #AVIDExcellence #SHMSProud #WICOR

🎉 What an amazing day for SHMS FBLA at the Fall Conference! We had an eventful day filled with accomplishments, fun, and school spirit: 🌟 Shoutout to Taylor Brown and Harper Hill, who both won door prizes! 🎁 💃 Taylor even got on stage and “danced through the decades” with the guest speaker! 🕺 Ms. Spurlock and Ms. Frakes also took the stage to try their hand at salsa dancing with the guest speaker - what a blast! 🎤 Anahi Mendez made us proud by representing our school beautifully as she spoke in the parade of presidents. 👏 And best of all, our students were SO well-behaved, making SHMS proud! Way to go, SHMS FBLA! We’re so proud of all our students who showed up and represented with pride! 🌟 #SHMSFBLA #FutureLeaders #ProudToBeABear

At SHMS, we’re more than a school – we’re family! 🐻 Ms. Melero's art classes made an amazing run-through banner for our volleyball team, and our football coaches dismissed practice early so everyone could go show their support. It’s all about lifting each other up and celebrating success together! Go Bears! #BearFamily #SHMSPride #Teamwork
