Students and staff are cleared to re-enter the building at Sylvan Hills Junior High. Sherwood fire department assessed the situation and determined there was no fire or cause for concern. School will resume as normal for the rest of the day. Thank you.

Students and staff are currently evacuated from Sylvan Hills Junior High at the moment. There is a possible electrical issue inside the building, causing a smoke smell. Sherwood fire department are on the scene to investigate the issue. Students are safe and outdoors at this time under staff supervision. Please do not come up to the school during this time. No students will be dismissed while we are evacuated.
