Starting tomorrow, our schools and district office are officially on winter break until the new year. District offices will reopen January 2, 2025. Congratulations to the SHJHS Marching Band! We just found out that this group of talented student musicians earned the 1st place trophy at the annual Sherwood Christmas Parade (back on December 7). Congratulations, Bears!




It's Learn a Foreign Language Month! In addition to the many PCSSD students studying Spanish, French & Chinese in the classroom, we also have over 50 languages spoken in our homes! Did you study a foreign language in school?#pcssdproud #serveall


Our ESOL students received a tour of UA Pulaski Tech last week! The 8-9 graders talked with multiple professors, met current UAPT students who were also multilingual, and received information regarding financial aid and TRIO (a program like AVID, only for college). Lastly, students reviewed the many benefits of knowing more than one language!
