PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- Earlier this week state legislators and Constitutional officers were sworn-in at the Capitol. Governor Sarah Sanders is the 47th Governor of Arkansas and the first female Governor. This marks the 94th General Assembly for the State of Arkansas. Congratulations to the men and women who were elected to represent Arkansans this term.

Below is a list of State Senators and State Representatives who represent Pulaski County:

State Senator Linda Chesterfield (District 12 - representing eastern Pulaski County, portions of Sherwood, North Little Rock, and Little Rock, including College Station Elementary, Crystal Hill Elementary, Daisy Bates Elementary, Harris Elementary, Landmark Elementary, Mills Middle, and Mills University Studies High)

Also being sworn-in this week is Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Lt. Governor Leslie Rutledge, Attorney General Tim Griffin, Secretary of State John Thurston, Auditor of State, Dennis Milligan, Treasurer of State Mark Lowery, Commissioner of State Lands Tommy Land.

On Wednesday, the Arkansas Senate confirmed Arkansas’s new Education Secretary, Jacob Oliva.
