LITTLE ROCK, Ark. ā The Joe T. Robinson High School Senators capped off a historic season with a 34ā19 victory over Hot Springs Lakeside to claim the 2025 5A State Championship. The win marks Robinsonās fourth football state title and the programās first-ever undefeated season (14ā0).
To celebrate, Joe T. Robinson High School has declared Wednesday, December 10, BLACK and GOLD DAY, with a community pep rally beginning at 2 p.m. at the stadium. Students and guests are encouraged to wear black and gold. All guests should sit on the visitor side so that high school and middle school students can sit together on the home side.
The Senators, who previously won championships in 1980, 2019, and 2021, rose to the challenge after moving up to Class 5A this year. Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove was an assistant for 15 years before becoming head coach in 2025.

Junior wide receiver Hakim Frampton #4 won the 5A championship MVP award, finishing the game with 163 yards and three touchdowns on seven catches.
