SHERWOOD, Ark. - Sherwood Elementary students are doing a fun social studies project and learning about different countries and the languages spoken in that country.
Tanya Bowmanās students recently learned how to say āhelloā in 15 languages. She posted a video in Google Classroom of various greetings and then were told to pick their favorite. The assignment included teaching the greeting to someone at home and taking a picture of their greeting.
āThis has truly been a fun way for us to stay connected,ā said Bowman.
Bowman said her students are now researching the place where their greeting is spoken.
