Maumelle High School hosted their second annual College and Career Fair, open to all high school students.
The College and Career Fair was organized by the Maumelle High Career and Technical Education Department and the Counselors. More than 70 organizations attended, from colleges and universities, trade schools, and tutoring representatives.
Maumelle city officials and other career representatives were available to talk with students about opportunities there, as well as required training and salary/wages. Some organizations even had job applications available for the students.
The students were challenged to visit at least 3 schools and 3 careers during the fair. Each student was given a list of questions to the representatives to ensure the student had received everything they should know.
