Summary of Projects

The following projects are proposed infrastructure improvements at buildings across Pulaski County Special School District. Each project listed below includes a preliminary budget as well as draft sketches of anticipated project development.

Schools not listed under the "Master Plan Projects" below will benefit from the passage of the vote as operating funds become available to address needs as they arise.

Mills University Studies High School

  • Arena

Maumelle High School

  • Indoor Practice Facilities

  • Softball fields

  • Baseball fields

  • $11 million

Sylvan Hills High School

  • Band room

  • $1 million

Harris Elementary School

  • Retrofit

  • $3 million

College Station Elementary School

  • Retrofit

  • $3 million

Robinson High School

  • Expansion to increase student enrollment to 1,500 students

  • $35 million

Baker Elementary School

  • Expansion - to increase student enrollment to 700 students

  • $5 million

New Northwest Transportation Pound

  • $4 million

District Lighting Upgrades

  • $2 million

  • Interior and exterior lights to be upgraded to LED lighting across the District. This will save approximately 33% on electricity costs annually for the District.

District Integration*

  • $1 million

  • Currently, the District uses Tridium integration software for HVAC and lighting controls in some schools which is not the most updated integration software. The upgrade will improve upon this integration software to align fire safety, access control and cameras all in one.
