hour of code

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Students at Daisy Bates Elementary were part of the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code.

The Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week (December 7-13) and began as an introduction to computer science. The idea has grown worldwide to encourage students to learn coding and computer science. More than 100 millions students have tried an Hour of Code.

Teacher Librarian Mrs. Scott coordinated the initiative at Daisy Bates during the school library classes.
